NASCAR Fan Could Win Ford Fusion Pace Car With Sprint - Web Exclusive

The new 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium will serve as the official pace car for the NASCAR Ford EcoBoost 400 in Homestead, FL on November 16-18, 2012, and one lucky fan might actually drive off in the same car.

Through the Sprint ?Win a Fusion Pace Car? Sweepstakes, this brand new car is the prize in a nationwide competition as part of the Ford Championship Weekend.

The Fusion pace car was revealed today at Bristol Motor Speedway ahead of the Irwin Tools Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday. It?s based on the production Fusion that will arrive in dealer showrooms later this fall, and take to the NASCAR track next year.

The Fusion pace car was subjected to a thorough shakedown test earlier this month at Ford?s Dearborn test track by several Ford NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers, including current leader Greg Biffle.

The car features a paint scheme reminiscent of the 2013 NASCAR Fusion, and the same scheme that will be used by many of Ford?s top racecars around the world during August.

The Fusion has been signed by every driver with Ford Racing. It features a 240hp 2.0L EcoBoost turbo engine with direct injection, six-speed transmission with paddle shifting, 18? wheels and a rear spoiler.

NASCAR fans have from now through November 18 to enter the sweepstakes, and there are a number of different ways to register. You can log on to Sprint.com/Speed via a smartphones or computer, or stop by the Sprint Experience at every NASCAR Sprint Cup race.

The car will also be on display at the Sprint Experience for the six upcoming race weekends. The winner receives an all-expenses paid trip for two to Las Vegas, where they will be presented their 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium at ?NASCAR After the Lap?.
